short shorts!

Toweling or polarfleece with fire engines?

Hoodie - polar fleece

It wasn't my choice of fabric - but he loved it. Fabric cost $2.50 ( for half a meter) and there is left overs! I might make a blue hoodie with the hood lining in this.

dress - repurposed

yep - it was a size 18 ladies skirt that I got from the opshop for $2.50..... Took about 10- 15 mins (excluding try on times....) as it was just taking in the sides (left the zip at the back) Most of that was spent on the straps, so would be heaps faster to just sew on some wide ribbon onto each side to tie at the tops....

When it's done it's dash as a dress, she has asked for it to be cut down into a short skirt - maybe with some tule underneath - easy to do!

(PS she HATES photos - and thinks I am taking a video, so is dancing - which is why she always looks so random! Not helped by the sticking plaster on her chin this week - she fell out of a tree at school!)

Towel dress

For putting on after swimming.

Just a towel shirred, with straps - easy peasy.

Travis hoodie

cute huh! Was bargain rugby shirt material from AJ's ($5 a meter!) and merino lining for the hood. Is a tad tight going over his fat head though!
